The location in Richmond, (British Columbia, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Accounting technician. This job is full-time permanent.
The Finance team has an immediate opening for an Accounting Technician. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this dynamic position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of commercial invoices, pricing updates in ERP system, and rebate / commission payments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Understanding of products and business rules to ensure accurate price updates for timely invoicing
· Maintaining accurate records of pricing updates and billing transactions
· Handling invoicing queries and resolving pricing discrepancies
· Managing rebate and commission programs in ERP system – including program set up, reconciling accruals and processing payments
· Preparing month-end journal entries and reports
· Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.

· Finance: Pricing, Invoicing, Gross to Net Sales, and related provisions must be accurate and timely.
· Rebates: Rebates payments must be properly validated prior to processing.

· Minimum 3 years working experience in Finance or Accounting
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
· Excellent organizational and time management abilities required to prioritize a high volume of tasks or competing priorities
· Proficient computer skills, knowledge of MS Office. Advance skills in Excel & Outlook are a must.
· Knowledge of SAP is a strong asset
· Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in highly time-sensitive environment
