Protection of your personal information is very important to Resolute Forest Products Inc., its wholly owned subsidiaries and its divisions (“Resolute”). INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT 
In most cases, you can visit the site without having to provide personal information. Our servers do not record any email address, unless you communicate with us. Even so, we record the domain name to identify the origin of the connection, such as your IP address, browser type and version, and the address of the referring site. This information is used to measure number of visits, time spent and pages viewed. We use such data to improve our site content. Resolute collects this type of information using cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your computer’s hard drive when you visit a given website. Cookies enable us to recognize you when you access our site. They do not make it possible to collect personal information on you, and you can at any time set your browser to block cookies. 

When you apply online for one of the jobs that we offer on this site, you must provide us with personal information, such as your name, mailing address, email address and telephone number. We may also ask for additional personal information to determine your eligibility. If you contact Resolute, we may keep a record of such correspondence. We do not collect the email addresses of people who communicate with Resolute by email. We use the information provided only to respond to email. When you provide us with personal information, you agree that your information may be shared with third parties for the purpose of processing and analyzing your application and other related operations. We may also use, disclose and communicate your personal information if required to do so by law, including by an order of any court. 

COLLECTION OF RÉSUMÉS
As part of the application process, you must provide us with your résumé, as written by you. Your résumé will be kept in our bank of applicants for the period that we deem appropriate. Resolute prohibits its employees from using your résumé for any purposes other than internal recruitment. If, however, you want your résumé to be removed from our databank, you should contact recruiting.admin@resolutefp.com.

You may access your user profile at any time, and update, modify or delete the personal information therein as you see fit.

Security and protection of your personal information 
Resolute uses administrative and technological safeguards appropriate to the degree of sensitivity of your personal information so as to protect its confidentiality. We use secure data networks protected by firewalls that meet industry standards and password protection systems. Even so, email that you send us may not necessarily be secure when transmitted to us. We instruct our employees with access to your personal information that it is to be used only in strict compliance with the principles set out in this Statement and the applicable legislation. Employees who misuse personal information in the applications submitted may be subject to disciplinary measures. Even though we use all reasonable means to protect your personal information and to ensure that the information you provide to us is not used by third parties for purposes other than those described in this Statement, Resolute is not responsible for any improper use of your personal information that is beyond its reasonable control. When you apply for a posted job online, you are no longer on Resolute’s website.

Resolute assumes no liability concerning the content, security or confidentiality practices of other sites, even if such other websites display the Resolute logo and/or offer information on Resolute, its operations or its products.
