Our sustainability strategy aims for a balance between our environmental, social, and economic initiatives and our performance. It is also consistent with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which seek to achieve a better, more sustainable future for all, as well as shared prosperity.

Building good relationships with our stakeholders is at the heart of Resolute’s commitment - to our customers, employees, retirees, and investors as well as to First Nations and Indigenous peoples. We strive to be a trusted partner for the communities in where we operate, and for about 40 Indigenous communities and organizations through concrete actions.

    The cornerstone of our efforts to shrink our environmental footprint is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to fight climate change. At the end of 2021, we had already reduced our absolute GHG emissions by 86% from 2000 levels.
