The Menominee Mill (located in Menominee, Michigan), produces high-quality recycled bleached kraft pulp annually for manufacturers of uncoated free sheet, commercial and away-from-home tissue, and coated paper in the United States.

Resolute Forest Products, Menominee Operations is seeking a talented individual to join our team. This position is a Monday – Friday 1st shift position.  This position will assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed, which may be outside of regular hours.

The Maintenance Mechanic will safely and properly maintain mobile and associated equipment in a timely manner to insure proper reliability.  Additional responsibilities include troubleshoot and repair all mobile equipment, bucket and scissor lifts, pressure washers, fuel storage tanks, perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper reliability, assist maintenance on daily and down tasks as needed and complete and maintain proper paperwork for inspections, stores and work orders as well as housekeeping of equipment and work area.

Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.  Candidates should have prior experience in an industrial environment. 

Successful applicants need to be self-directed individuals and must possess excellent trouble shooting/problem solving skills as well as good written and oral skills.  Must be professional and able to work both independently and as part of our team.  Candidates should have previous mechanical experience, strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems.
