Our Glenwood location in Arkansas, United States is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Accountant. This job is permanent, full-time.

Searching for self-motivated degreed Accountant to oversee the accounting functions at our lumber mill in Glenwood Arkansas

Your challenges:

• Prepares monthly financial statements that include, monthly balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and capital expenditures.
• Analyzes variances between actual and operating plan, reports results to management.
• Maintains general ledger, including journal entries, coding invoices, account analysis & reconciliation, closing books monthly and setting up new accounts.
• Assists in the preparation of financial / operating forecasts and plans for use in measuring, planning, and controlling business operations.
• Acts as back-up for Controller’s duties, including banking reconciliations and banking transaction oversight.
• Performs individual assignments as management may direct.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of high production mills, a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn computerized accounting systems such as, SAP, GP, LumberTrack a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.
