The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Coordinator - Quality Assurance. This job is full-time permanent.

As the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating testing efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders. They will ensure that the testing activities are performed in accordance with our established standard operating processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  •        Test Planning and Execution: Plans, coordinates, and executes test plans and test cases to identify defects, verify software functionality, and ensure compliance with business requirements and technical specifications using automation tools and test management tools like Worksoft and Panaya, respectively. Provides estimates and obtains management support for the time and resources required to perform the testing.
  • Project Managers/Workstream Leads/ Resource Communications:  Collaborates with project managers, workstream leads, and resources to assign testing resources to specific business processes, ensures all test scenarios have been provided by the workstream leads, ensures the tests are sequenced, and the test data is accurately identified and documented for each test scenario.
  • Regulatory Compliance:  Documents, implements, monitors, and enforces all processes for testing as per standards defined by the Quality Assurance department. The content and structure of all testing documents and artifacts are documented and maintained. Checks and reviews the test evidence documentation for completion.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting:  Tracks and prepares the report of testing activities including test results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status.

  • Strong organizational skills: able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at once, including scheduling test dates, coordinating with other members that comprise the testing team, and ensuring that all testing materials are prepared and ready to go.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to communicate effectively with other members of the testing team, as well as with other stakeholders. They must be able to explain testing procedures and policies clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail: able to pay close attention to detail when preparing testing materials. They must be able to ensure that all test items are accurate and that all testing procedures are followed correctly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: able to identify problems or issues that arise during the testing process and develop effective solutions to address them.
  • Familiarity with testing software and technology: comfortable working with a variety of testing software and technology tools.

 

Required Professional Experience/Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in information technology quality assurance software testing.
  • Knowledge of test management and test automation platforms, such as HP-ALM, Worksoft, Tosca and Panaya
  • Strong understanding of testing processes, governance, data management, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
